Las Vegas Has a New Eye Opening Attraction

Written by Bryce J. Tarrant

If you have been paying any attention to Las Vegas, you would have heard of the many new sporting events and venues coming to the city. The Las Vegas Raiders relocated from California to build Allegiant Stadium, a massive (Darth Vader would be proud) arena that will host events across major sports in the upcoming years. In 2021, Raiders owner Mark Davis purchased the Las Vegas Aces who have been playing in Michelob Ultra Arena, and captured their first WNBA Championship in 2022. Additionally, MLB’s Oakland Athletic’s is potentially relocating to the city, as well.

The latest venue to land in Vegas, is a bit eye-opening. The MSG Sphere is an innovative entertainment venue built by James Dolan’s Madison Square Garden and design company Populous. The spherical-shaped structure features advanced technology, including a high-resolution exterior LED screen, immersive audio systems, and other state-of-the-art visual effects. Reports say it will host music, film and select sporting events.

This past week, Vegas visitors would have seen the attraction welcome NBA Summer League attendees with unique graphics of a Wilson basketball and others have seen visuals of a creepy eyeball, as well as other visuals. The project is rumored to have cost $2.3 billion and seats 18,000 people.
